This was a doodle painting for practice on painting eyes, but I loved the way it turned out so I figured I'd post it. :) These are my eyes (I actually have the picture in my gallery, "Green Eyes"). I started painting one, then on a whim I added the swirly things on top, and voila! Fire and Ice.

Do you like the concept/execution? Is there anything I can do to improve this? Any ideas that are kind of like this that you think would be cool?

I probably would've put slightly more emphasis on the top eyelashes, they don't look as visible as they could be...
......But that's just me, and I pretty much suck. ^^;

This is really sharp - and the white background really makes the colour jump out. If I was going to do anything to it, I would (using the same colours) put a little something in the corners to frame the picture a little, and draw the eyes inward. Not too much, though, cause it is the simplicity of the background that makes it stand out.

Eyes are an awesome subject. I should paint more eyes. hmmm......
